Is Victor Wembanyama The Greatest Prospect in Sports History?

greatest prospect

Many people are calling the #1 overall draft pick, Victor Wembanyama, the greatest prospect in NBA history.

Some are even going as far as to saying that he is the Greatest Prospect in Sports history.

The kid is 19 years old, 7 foot 5, with a wingspan of over 8 feet.

To go along with that – he has already developed a very respectable 3-point shot, can handle the ball like a guard, has a skillful post game, and can protect the basket – blocking shots left and right.

“Wemby” seems to have it all already.

There is no doubt he is an absolute freak of nature.

We have never seen anything like him before.

Can Victor live up to the hype of being called “The Greatest Prospect Ever?”

Well, here’s his response to being called the “greatest prospect ever”:

As you can see Victor is already comfortable behind the mic and seems to have a confident, but modest response with all of this pressure that has been set upon him.

He has sort of a spiritual approach to the game which allows him to truly be one of a kind on the court and play freely.

JJ was shocked to hear his response to this question and came to realize that at only 19 years old… Victor has wisdom much beyond his years.

Victor Wembanyama is the next Chosen One in the basketball realm.

This interview solidified it for me.

Victor has had a few plays that have been unexplainable to me… but this has to be the top play that I never thought I would see happen.

I mean come on… this kid is 7 foot 5 sizing up an opponent from beyond the 3-point line and he is able to get a putback dunk from his OWN miss. This is literally one of the craziest plays I have ever seen.

If you want to have your jaw dropped.. just go look at some of his highlights, I dare you.

Victor is going to be embarrassing grown men from Day One in the league.

There is really no comparison for Victor, but if I had to compare him to current players I would have to say that he is Kevin Durant + 5 inches, with the length and shot-blocking ability of Rudy Gobert, and a similar 3-point/mid-range jump shot ability to that of Kristaps Porzingis (the OG unicorn).

Check this out, this is Victor on Draft night standing next to Scoot Henderson, third overall draft pick.

No offense to Scoot… but this is just wild. He makes anyone he stands next to look like a young boy.

I am fully convinced that Victor Wembanyama is THE next big thing.

Not only that, but I believe that one day he will be labeled as the GOAT.
